On the following pages we would like to introduce you into the world of functioning catenary systems for model railways. Our products are designed from the original and whenever possible we downscaled exactly while maintaining complete functionality. Most important for us is the attempt to transfer the prototype situation into a model railway environment, that is working reliable and absolutely trouble-free. Regardless of the existing scale, regardless whether you really want to obtain current from the catenary system or install the overhead wires just for realistic appearance.
This also means that in case of maintenance tasks you are able to work within the overhead wire system without damaging existing parts of the Sommerfeldt catenary system.
This is achieved by following manufacturing principles:
There are no clip connections, that could open accidentially. We don’t use plastic brackets to mount poles, as plastic materials are due to aging and snap-in-connections may break.
